Evaluation of Modular Power Converter Integrated with 5G Network

چکیده

This paper focuses on two key technical concepts, which may have a tremendous impact future generations of power electronic converters: the Power Electronic Building Block (PEBB) concept, and 5G/6G wireless data transfer. It is expected that these trends induce development new cognitive Electronics 4.0. To investigate this Proof Concept (PoC) PEBB-based converter integrated with 5G network, was designed tested. Study confirmed assembled from PEBB modules can compete state-of-the-art devices. Moreover, test results indicates several challenges related to integration equipment network has be resolved, enable growth augmented converters, especially if transfer meant for communication between modules.
